Turas Colmcille Walk

The Turas Cholmcille is a historic 5.5-kilometre (3.5-mile) pilgrimage walk. As the longest continually practiced "turas" (journey) in Ireland, this circular trail winds through the valley floor and surrounding hillsides, linking 15 penitential stations composed of prehistoric megalithic structures, early Christian cross-carved standing stones, and holy wells. We will not be able to complete the turas in full but we will get most of it walked.
